Moniker Smiths Bloodlines is a vampire SLG game. Follow the branching plot line as an ancient power awakens and vampires begin to take over a small town. Every time a new victim becomes a vampire, new branches of the story are unlocked. Replay each scene to access art and stories unique to the victim or vampire's perspective.
Game Introduction
If playing this game for the first time, it is recommended to start with Lisa's storyline and then play through it before continuing to play the others.
It is best to see everything from the non-vampire perspective first, and then see what is happening behind the scenes.
Honestly, the 20 different storylines that intersect at various points and slowly reveal the entire vampire outbreak seem to be well thought out and put a lot of effort into it, which shows a great attention to detail that you don't see in similar visual novels.
Obviously, it's 90% porn, but everything is given a lot of background information to keep you really interested in what will happen next.
Game Highlights
This is a fun experience that can be experienced from the perspective of multiple characters, who or others become vampire-like sluts or muscle men.
If you like that kind of corrupt/slut-ification experience, you might like this.
The composition and rendering of the shots are quite good. The writing is good. A nice feature is the ability to see some scenes from the perspective of ordinary people while maintaining the charm of vampires.
Content-wise, I don't know if this was intentional, but it feels like the author has some understanding of the role of vampire myth in sexual taboos, and is exploring this.
The jumping between protagonists, false endings, etc. may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I found it broke up the monotony of an otherwise typical dynamic novel development.
Another love story that's better than Twilight.
